About Shixi
I hold a double degree in international relations and international security studies from the Australian National University with a distinction average. In November 2020, I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a master's of international relations degree. I am a Mandarin native speaker.

I have had experiences in conducting private Mandarin tutorials to ANU students before. My teaching method is flexible and depends on the learning partner's objective in learning the language as well as your language proficiency. In my previous tutoring experience, I have engaged the university textbooks as requested by my learning partners and I have organised sessions to teach students with no background of Mandarin. I am familiar with PowerPoint and Zoom, and alike. I am able to adjust my teaching methodology per your request.
As of possible tutoring in international relations related courses, it depends on the subject matter and I am able to provide sessions in the field of:
- International Relations Theories;
- Australian foreign/defence policy;
- Chinese foreign/defence policy;
- Security issues in Southeast Asia
- etc.
