About Elena
I am very focused and detail-oriented, and I know that hard work and perseverance will definitely pay off in the end. As a student, I did not always feel comfortable asking my teachers for help and tried to take on too much myself. However, I often found that working with someone slightly older than myself, whose thinking is more aligned and who has recently mastered the material, was able to explain things to me in a way that makes more sense. I found this a really effective way to learn, and I am sure you will.

I help each student identify their strengths and then use those to help improve their weaknesses. Every lesson is individually tailored to what they need to focus on, for example, preparing for a photocard in the oral exam to analysing Spanish art. I can be flexible with lesson lengths depending on their needs, ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. I have experience tutoring online and in person. I have unlimited patience and believe anyone can succeed at languages given the right approach.
