About Nikolas

My biggest qualification is that I had to go through the same journey you did. I moved to Germany speaking no German, and had to learn from the ground up. I know the specific mistakes that English native speakers make in German, and can help you avoid the ones I made.

About the lesson

I work a lot with conversation, and reading comprehension exercises. I embrace the practice of guided learning, letting the student try an exercise first, noticing mistakes, and offering tips to ingrain the solutions to these mistakes in the mind. I also believe in learning vocabulary as it shows up in reading, as opposed to rote memorization.
