Alix is an experienced qualified teacher of German, French and Russian.
She is friendly and flexible, and always takes time to work out students' individual strengths and weaknesses and tailors her tutoring to their individual needs.
Alix holds an undergraduate degree in Russian and German, a Master's degree in Linguistics and a PGCE specialising in German with French. Since qualifying as a teacher, Alix has taught at state and independent schools. She teaches French and Russian up to Year 11 and German up to year 13, and has also successfully prepared students for Oxbridge entrance.
Before becoming a teacher, Alix worked as a translator. Alongside tutoring she teaches part-time, as well as examining for an exam board. Alix has also recently developed a guide to an A Level set text for an educational publisher.
