My teaching approach for Algebra is centered on linear algebra with a focus on abstract vector spaces and transformations. I cover vector spaces and subspaces in detail, including linear combinations, spanning sets, linear independence, basis, and dimension with clear definitions and proofs. I teach linear transformations, kernel, image, rank-nullity theorem, and matrix representations. I also cover inner product spaces, including norms, orthogonality, Gram-Schmidt process, and applications in least squares and orthogonal projections. I use real-world applications from physics, engineering, and computer science to make the subject relevant. I provide detailed notes, proofs, and problem sets. I assign homework that includes both theoretical derivations and numerical applications. I conduct weekly tests and provide feedback. I maintain a progress log and offer additional support for challenging topics. My goal is to prepare you for advanced linear algebra and its applications in your field.
