About Crystal
Hi! I’m a certified Alberta teacher with a Bachelor of Education Degree as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. I am an avid traveller and have visited 28 countries, as well as lived and taught in both South Korea and Ukraine. I am obsessed with music, cats, laughing, and food. I love to spend my free time boxing, listening to music or attending live shows, travelling, or writing.

Hi, I am Crystal! I currently teach at an elementary school in Calgary, and I am specialized in elementary education. I have an in-depth understanding of the K-4 Alberta curriculum, and I am understanding of students who may be struggling at this time due to the adjustments to the curriculum in mathematics and literacy in the last year as well as students who may have gaps due to COVID. I have a lot of passion for teaching, am enthusiastic, and bring a sense of humour and element of fun to my lessons. It is important to me that I develop a strong relationship with my students and provide support and encouragement as they grow as learners. I have experience wide a range range of learners and understand that student learning is unique and I possess a tool box of strategies to help support these different types of learners.
