About Axel
My favorite disciplines are mathematics and biology. After doing a preparatory class in biology, I studied neurosciences at AgroParisTech, learning cognition at the École Normale Supérieure, and the use of game as a learning vector at the Institut des Sciences du Digital. Freshly graduated, I work as a learning designer in company specialized in digital training. In parallel, I started studying in a drama school, which is a considerable asset for pedagogy !

My main goal is to enable sustainable learning: to promote the retention of knowledge as long as possible. To this extent, it is essential to meet these criterias :
- Motivation : by motivating the learner, their attention will actually be focused on what they learn, enabling the knowledge to be processed by the working memory. To this end, various techniques are possible: play, social learning, gamification, projects ... There is no ideal technique, it depends on the student.
- Memorization: Memorizing information means being able to restore it as it is after a certain amount of time. There are no secrets : you have to review your courses several times. However, most students think it is enough to review the courses by reading them and highlighting the most important items... This is not the solution ! My pedagogy is based on an active memorization supported by the latest research in cognitive science.
- Understanding: It is important to put the knowledge in context to retain it more easily : through understanding, the learner creates a stronger path of memorization allowing him to recover knowledge more quickly. When I deal with a student, not only do I check that that they KNOW : I also check that they UNDERSTAND !
- Applications: It is important that the student know how to reuse a knowledge they have learned in a context they have never seen before. This is the whole point of learning : recruiting knowledge in contexts that have not necessarily been studied in class ! This is why I always try to contextualize the exercises, as much as possible, in concrete situations that the learner has not seen before.

Perfect! Axel travaille merveilleusement bien,très doué,très pédagogue.Mon fils a appris beaucoup de choses mêmes pendant 3 cours.
- Gurshan est un apprenant très motivé, désireux d'apprendre et de se surpasser. Il comprend très vite ! Il a envie de donner la réponse le plus vite possible, ce qui peut parfois l'emmener à donner des réponses qui manquent d'exactitude. Aujourd'hui, nous avons travaillé les tableaux de proportionnalité et la nature des triangles (isocèle, équilatéral, scalène). Au prochain cours, nous nous pencherons sur le calcul des aires, peut-être aussi un peu de division, et de la conjugaison.Axel's response :
