About Jaeyon
Hello! I am a hard-working and ambitious university student pursuing a BFA in Design with minors in Psychology and Music. Although interested in entering the marketing field, I wish to further explore my passion for music and continue to help others achieve their goals and improve as musicians.
With the knowledge I acquired over fifteen years as a soloist and ten years as an orchestra member, I customize personalized lesson plans to cater to the needs of my students. I am capable of teaching Beginner and Intermediate levels on the instrument and open to mentoring all ages with my experience as an educational teacher assistant for kindergarten-fourth graders over the past six years.

After a 30-minute complimentary zoom meeting for introductions and skill tests, I will create a personalized lesson plan that fits what you wish to learn/improve upon and remain transparent with the whole process.
My lessons are all structured in the following format:
Five minutes before the lesson: Quick catch-up session and tuning
First 1/4 of lesson time: Music Theory & Scales
Rest of the lesson: Focus on repertoire or music with any help needed (ex. orchestra)
Following each lesson, I will record videos of myself playing new excerpts learned and provide overviews of what we learned. I will upload them to the student's personalized Google Drive folder.
