About Hamed
I am currently a doctoral student in linguistics at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature with a specialization in Translation and my Master of Science in Computational Linguistics. Moreover, I am a certified ESL instructor, having an international TESOL (Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate.

I am a certified ESL Instructor and have taught a wide range of subjects, but I am most passionate about teaching English grammar, writing, and speaking. Indeed, as a researcher in linguistics, analyzing sentence structure between different languages allowed me to teach English grammar to students of other languages as if I were teaching them their native language. My students are usually excited when I show them how languages are related to each other and how we use words from the same root in different languages. In general, my lessons are a combination of learning theoretical knowledge and acquiring productive (speaking and writing) and receptive (reading and listening) skills in a dynamic atmosphere, as well as getting familiar with interesting linguistic facts about languages, which makes the the lessons joyful for the students.
