About Alba
I am a Computer Programming tutor with 8 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have successfully trained around 280 students, helping them improve their coding skills, academic performance, and technical confidence.
I specialise in Java along with C, C++, Python basics, SQL, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, and Web Development fundamentals. I also guide students in assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity and practical understanding. I believe programming should be learned through logic and hands-on practice rather than memorisation. I focus on building strong fundamentals first.
I follow a flexible and student-friendly approach. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s understanding level and ensure step-by-step learning.
I maintain a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Empathy and patience are key parts of my teaching style.
One of my key achievements is helping many students move from beginner level to advanced programming skills and successfully complete academic projects and internships.
My goal is to make students confident, independent programmers ready for academic and professional success.

My teaching approach for Computer Programming focuses on building strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills from the ground up. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained in a simple, structured, and practical way.
I teach Java as a core language along with C, C++, Python basics, SQL, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, and Software Development fundamentals. I also help students understand how these concepts are used in real-world applications like app development and backend systems.
My methodology is step-by-step and concept driven. I begin with fundamentals, ensuring students understand the basics clearly before moving to advanced topics. Each topic is supported with coding practice, real examples, and debugging exercises.
Flexibility is an important part of my teaching style. I adjust my pace based on each student’s learning speed. I ensure no topic is rushed and every doubt is cleared properly.
Empathy and patience are central to my approach. I support beginners who struggle with coding logic and help them gain confidence gradually through consistent practice.
Communication is kept simple and clear, making complex programming topics easy to understand. I encourage active participation and continuous practice.
