About Claire
Hi there, I'm Claire! :) I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Psychological Sciences, and am now an Adjunct Professor at a local community college in DFW. Both degrees were heavily oriented around statistics, research design, and essay crafting, so I offer and enjoy various flavors of all the above.
Prior to my current position, I dabbled in education in a variety of ways: I have had 3+ years privately tutoring, serving as a substitute teacher (in both long- and short- term capacities), and being a teacher's aide. All the above has occurred with Pre-K through College, so I am quite comfortable with a range of ages, subject matters, and academic needs.

I use an individualized approach to help strengthen your writing in such a way that your content is delivered as impactfully as it can be, while still preserving the authenticity and originality of your own voice! I pull from extensive practice cultivated throughout undergrad. and grad. school where I routinely wrote research-oriented, academic-style (APA, MLA, Chicago) essays and then eventually my thesis, as well as from my current work within academia as an Adjunct Professor.
I have ample experience privately tutoring, with my most recent experience over the past summer ranging from ABCs and beginning phonics to SAT and ACT English-Language Arts prep.
