About Minh Thy
I am currently doing my Teaching Degree in Australia. I have been tutoring in English for a middle-aged man and a year 11 student, mainly focus on vocabulary and speaking skills as their native language is not English. They are now more comfortable expressing their thoughts into words quite fluently, which I think is a big achievement for both parties.

My teaching method is predominantly direct instruction and personalised learning for students. Study plans may vary across students as each student has a different type of approach. I try to make it fun for students by not only focusing on the study plan but getting to know them to build a trusting relationship. The structure of lessons would be learning new vocabulary of a certain topic, following by idioms/phrasal verbs, important structures of sentences and lastly, discussing the topic with me to utilise the knowledge you have acquired throughout the lesson.
