About Melisa

Hello and welcome to my page:) I am Melisa, a 5th year medical student at Queen Mary University. T

Tutoring is something that I love and have been doing for many years and I have obtained an A* and As in my A-levels and GCSEs which help me understand and explain topics more easily and with more depth.

I tutor other subjects like GCSE maths, Biology and medical school interview/entry.

I also work in counselling and support which may also be of assistance to you :)

About the lesson

GCSE Chemistry although daunting can be made simple and fun by breaking down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps.

Lessons are tailored to your needs as a student, focusing on understanding key concepts, building confidence and improving exam technique. Together we will create the perfect lesson plan for you :))

I use clear explanations, worked examples, active recall and exam-style questions to help students apply their knowledge and maximise marks.

Lessons are typically 1 hour, but I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs.

I teach GCSE Chemistry students aged 14–16, from those who would like extra support to students aiming for the highest grades. Together we can make it work!

As a fifth-year medical student, I have a strong background in Chemistry and the sciences and understand how to explain challenging concepts in a clear and approachable way.
