About Azuka
I am a brilliant Engineering graduate of UNIPORT, with over five years experience tutoring candidates preparing for GMAT. My areas of expertise include Problem Solving, Data Sufficiency and Integrated Reasoning.

I will first evaluate the students' level of knowledge in mathematics and quantitative reasoning, and come up with a lesson plan based on their proficiency.
Depending on students' proficiency and length of preparation time, I will conduct a personalized comprehensive review to build a solid foundation in math, and work towards getting them in the 80th percentile of the test scores.
Most students think maths is a difficult subject and fear they will do badly. This creates an additional barrier for success in their exams.
Based on this ideas, when I tutor I try to achieve the following:
1. Create a relaxed and interactive atmosphere, encourage discussions and questions.
2. Help the students overcome their fear of the subject.
3. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students
4. Ask the students to work through problems that test or challenge their weaknesses.
5. Also suggest problems that play to their strengths in order to build up their confidence.
6. Work through as many practice problems as possible with the students, taking care to analyze each step taken.
7. Show them tricks, clues and shortcuts to enable them overcome time constraints.
8. Ensure my students take mock tests to guage their preparedness before the actual test date.
