About Saurav

Hello, I’m Saurav!

I’m a B.Com (Hons.) graduate in Accounts from Patna University and a CA aspirant, and I’ve been teaching since my school days. I started by helping students up to Class 10, and today I teach Accounts and Economics to Class 11 and 12 commerce students here in Patna.

I know Accounts can feel confusing at first, with all its rules, entries and formats. I’ve worked in a company accounts department, handling bank reconciliation, GST returns and Tally entries. That means I can explain not just how to solve a question, but why it works the way it does.

Teaching techniques and methods
I teach Accounts and Economics by starting with the concept and why it works, before moving on to numerical problems. I use simple, real-life examples, so topics like journal entries, ledgers, final accounts and demand and supply make sense instead of being memorised. I’m a B.Com (Hons.) graduate in Accounts and a CA aspirant, and I’ve also worked in a company accounts department, so I can show how these chapters are used in real accounting work.

Structure of a class

A quick revision of the previous topic
A new concept, explained step by step with examples
Practice questions solved together, then on your own
Doubt-clearing and a short summary at the end, with homework for the next class

What makes my classes different

I teach at a professional level of Accounts, so students learn the logic behind each treatment and not only the format of answers.
I pay attention to each student’s pace and don’t rush through topics.
I’ve been teaching for several years, starting with school-level subjects and moving to higher-secondary commerce.
