About Vaiyi
I am a Bachelor of Accounting graduate with strong numeracy and analytical skills. My academic background required advanced mathematics, logical thinking and attention to detail.
I provide structured, well-prepared lessons and maintain a professional, punctual and supportive approach. My focus is on helping students clearly understand concepts, improve results and build lasting confidence in math.
Students and parents can expect clear communication, organized sessions and a respectful learning environment where progress is carefully guided.

My tutoring approach
I aim to make maths simple and less stressful for students. Many students struggle because concepts were explained too quickly or not in a way that suited them. I break topics into small steps, explain the reasoning behind methods, and practise together before students try questions independently. I encourage questions and focus on building confidence as well as understanding.
I can assist with homework, test preparation and catching up on missed topics.
Lesson structure
Typical lessons are 60 minutes and include:
• review of previous work
• explanation of a new concept
• guided practice
• independent questions with support
I adjust the pace depending on the student’s level and needs.
Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Accounting, which required strong numeracy and problem-solving skills. Although I am new to tutoring, I prepare each lesson carefully and tailor explanations to each student.
Who my lessons are for
Primary school (Year 3–6) and junior secondary (Year 7–9) students, especially those who need help improving understanding and confidence in maths. Lessons available online.
