About Jules
I like to start classes with a conversation prompt, so that students have the opportunity to express themselves freely. During this conversation, I take notes for any specific phonetic sounds to be explored and practiced during class.
From there, the teaching methodology is customized to the needs of each student, and I always try to include the use of IPA - International Phonetics Alphabet to facilitate learning.

Howdy! I have been fluent in English for 11 years, and I have had experience as a teacher in language schools and as a private tutor for 9 years. I graduated from the Stella Adler Academy in 2019, an acting conservatory in Los Angeles, California, whose curriculum included a focus on articulation, and pronunciation of different English accents and dialects taught by native speakers.
We're here to focus on accent reduction and how to sound more like a native speaker. We can also work on different American accents such as Southern, Bostonian or New Yorker, or British English too.
