I've come to detest the educational malpractice that goes on in our educational system. In a typical classroom are different students, each one of whom with different learning modalities and different abilities, yet a teacher teaches the same the same way especially using the Audio(voice and sound) modality of learning.
I consider all my students. I'm basically more of an audio-visual teacher but more importantly, I allow my students the flexibility to bring forth their ideas and modify the few I've impacted into them, unlike the bulimic method in our conventional schools where literally teachers expect students to take in and reproduce information verbatim. No, I'm different, and my uniqueness might just be the little thing you might have been looking for.
I have tutored lots of kids over the last five years... From Emma, a primary five pupil who was written off as a “learning disabled" but later went on to gain admission into NTIC Abuja on scholarship, to Ugonna who was like a son to me, and through my help made all distinction in his Cambridge A'level exams and is currently studying Medicine in Canada. These are just a few to the many students I've motivated and lifted to realize that nothing is impossible with the right tutelage and actions.
