About Madeline
I approach the SAT/ACT Reading/Writing sections with a unique strategy that yields more correct answers in less time. After just TWO sessions, my first SAT Reading client shaved 2 minutes off of his average time per passage while improving from averaging 7 correct answers per passage (65%) to 9 correct answers per passage (82%). The results speak for themselves -- using this strategy, I took the ACT and SAT only one time each, securing a 770/800 on SAT Reading and 36/36 on both the ACT Reading and Writing Sections. I was accepted EA to Georgetown University, University of Notre Dame, Fordham University, and Boston College (where I currently double-major in Psychology and Philosophy -- go Eagles!).
The first thing I tell my new students is that we are a team preparing for the big game (the SAT or ACT!) and our sessions are our practices. If we can make it through the tough practices and power through the "off-days," we will win big on Test Day.
The students! It is so awesome to work together on tackling something that can cause so much stress. As much as I love seeing my students improve their results, I most enjoy watching their self-confidence and security grow with each session.
