About Hayley
I am a current 2nd year music student at Durham University. Originally from Hong Kong, I came to the UK with a burning passion for music, hoping for a future career where I can spread love and comfort through music. Art is for one's self-expression but on top of that, is for us to connect through self-expression. I'd like to share this journey of learning the craft of piano with students who enjoy music as much as I do.

Starting with basics in music theory, then introducing students to a comprehensive practise routine including scales, etudes (as some essential skills to make life easier in the long run) and classical reportoire catered to individual interest and level of ability. For instance, a Student with a good start and foundational skills can begin with some simple, enjoyable sonatinas of Clementi, while more proficient students can start playing some Chopin waltzes.
Currently, I can only hold online sessions. During term-time, I may consider lessons held in Durham city, but availability is limited.
