About Emilio
I am one of the top blitz chess players in my city of London, Ontario, with a peak rating of 2500 blitz on chess.com. I am the chess instructor for the Western University Chess Club and have played in the CUCC championships representing Western. I was a chess mentor for the London Public Library chess program, and I have a peak chess.com rating of 2700 bullet, 2500 blitz, and 2300 rapid. Furthermore, I have coached many people of different ages and skill levels, including kids. My best wins include beating many grandmasters, some rated as high as 3000 on chess.com.

I am passionate about chess and sharing the game I love with other people around me. I would love to teach people especially beginners and intermediates under 1600 as I determine your strengths and weaknesses as a chess player, and I can also assign optional homework as needed. I will analyze your previous games, show you where you made good moves and mistakes, teach you opening, middlegame and endgame ideas, and give you puzzles to solve to further strengthen your chess rating. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and I can give lessons in both languages. I am excited to meet you!
