Odile was my French teacher for my last 2 years of schooling and helped me excel in my french studies to my greatest ability. Not only did my "academic" french skills improve with her (such as essay writing, reading comprehension, etc.) but also my confidence and competency in spoken/conversational french were greatly enhanced. Our son Matt completed Year 12 WACE French, and it is no exaggeration to say he would not have had any success without Odile as his tutor. She developed a terrific rapport with him, and worked with his strengths, giving him the confidence he needed. I am immensely grateful to Odile for her perseverance with a reluctant (but persistent!) language student. Matt is now doing French at University, so I believe that says more than I can say about how she instilled in him a purpose, greater than just getting a pass mark for a WACE subject.

Odile is an excellent French teacher who gave my 2 sons extra tuition in year 12. She was recommended by their school and gave them 1:1 tuition which was an amazing supplement to their school classes. One of my sons was doing WACE and the other IB and she had no problem covering both curricula. Being a native French speaker was invaluable and she improved my sons' French speaking and written work hugely, with a similar improvement in their grades (my son doing IB was 1 point off a 7 - the top IB mark). Odile was flexible with the boys' needs, she reinforced the work the boys were doing at the time or assisted with exam preparation etc. Odile was always on time and flexible with fitting in lessons at different times when the boys were busy with year 12 events. I would recommend Odile very highly for French tuition!
