Omotola Jalade Ekeinde popularly known as Omosexy is married and blessed with four children: two boys and two girls. She was born in Lagos State on the 7th of February 1978. Though born in Lagos State, she is however from Ondo State, the western part of Nigeria.
She attended Yaba College of Technology where she got a degree in Estate Management. The actress ambition was to work in business management before she however stumbled into acting during her modelling days by accompanying one of her friends for an audition.
Her friend lost the role and then suggested that she goes for the role and she ended up getting the role. She starred in the movie ‘Venom of Justice’ which was directed by Reginald Ebere. Her first movie launched her into the Nollywood industry.
Omotola Jalade Ekeind's breakout role came in 1996 from a movie titled Mortal Inheritance, in which she portrayed a young woman called Kemi suffering from sickle-cell anaemia disease. The movie today remains a favourite by Nollywood fans and is regarded as one of Nigeria's best movies ever made.
The actress has featured in several blockbuster movies and several awards. She has tested waters in the music industry and 2005, she launched her first album titled ''Gba''. She has since then continued working on music one way or the other.
The actress has a Chieftancy title in Ondo State which was conferred to her in the year 2013 by Oba Victor Kiladejo.
Veteran Actor: Olu Jacobs
Olu Jacobs was born on the 11th of July, 1942 in Abeokuta, Ogun State. His early childhood was spent mostly in Kano, which is the Northern part of Nigeria.
The actor because of his love and desire for acting travelled in 1964 to study Theatre arts at the Royal Academy Arts (RADA) in the United Kingdom. It was there he got his acting qualifications and experience.
The multi-talented and hardworking actor started his acting career in the United Kingdom after training at RADA, London. He then appeared in various British television shows and series in the 1970s (including The Goodies, Till Death Us Do Part, Barlow at Large, The Venturers, The Tomorrow People and The Professionals).
He got his first role as an actor in the United Kingdom when he accompanied his friend who was part of an acting union to an audition. He was persuaded to take part in the audition and the judges immediately were impressed.
The actor featured in several movies and television series abroad before he decided to return home to join the Nollywood industry. His passion and hard work made him triumph in the industry and he is now one of the most respected oldest Nigerian film producers that have paved the way for the younger generations of actors.
Olu Jacob has featured in over 100 Nollywood films and won several awards since he returned to the country in the early '90s.
