About Hazel
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and bring 9 years of teaching experience, having worked with beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced singers. My training allows me to combine academic knowledge with real-world singing techniques, giving students a well-rounded learning experience that blends structure with creativity. Alongside teaching, I have performed in concerts, choirs, and solo recitals, experiences that allow me to share practical insights about stage performance and audience connection. These opportunities have given me a deeper understanding of vocal stamina, interpretation, and confidence, which I bring directly into lessons to prepare students for real performance situations. As a tutor, I value patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe that every student has a unique voice waiting to be discovered, and my role is to nurture that potential. My teaching philosophy is about more than just hitting the right notes—it’s about building confidence, inspiring creativity, and helping students experience the joy of music as a lifelong skill.

My singing lessons are designed to help students develop a healthy and confident voice. Repertoire is carefully selected based on the learner’s goals and interests, keeping lessons motivating while still focusing on growth and discipline.
Lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual—whether preparing for auditions, improving stage presence, or singing purely for personal joy. With structured guidance and encouraging feedback, students not only gain technical skill but also develop self-confidence and emotional connection to their voice, which makes singing a deeply rewarding experience.
