About Nataleya
As a current master's student, future PhD student and lifelong learner myself, I understand the struggles of learning something new. Especially languages. I myself spent years learning Spanish and Korean, even getting a minor in Applied Linguistics.
Whether it be online or in person, I believe that people deserve quality education to pursue these goals and I love being part of the journey.
In my free time, I continue my linguistic pursuits and have recently picked up Chinese and Japanese. I also am a teacher's assistant for my university's Korean Language courses, as well as currently enrolled in my own translation course. I have worked as a tutor for a few years now, and much of my teaching experience is Korean and English based. I would consider myself a professional within my field and someone who values detailed explanations over vague answers.

My approach is much more conversation based than reading or writing, and I will not only teach you your target language, but also how to use the most of what you already know! If you're a beginner Korean learner and want the experience of someone who has taught Korean as a second language as a KSL learner, then I'm perfect for you! I do only teach up to the intermediate level and I have more of a focus on listening and speaking, but many of my students have thanked my detailed explanations that native speakers often take for granted.
For English, I've been teaching it for over a year now, primarily through other platforms, and I have a wide range of materials that can be used. I've advised people regarding their SOPs, Resumes and many other academic and business aspects. I can teach virtually all levels, but since Korean is my second language, I specialize in Korean-first language, ESL teaching.
