About Simran
Hello, I'm Simran, a university Law student with a genuine passion for education, learning, and helping others achieve their academic goals. Having studied Law, English Literature, and Sociology, I understand the challenges students face when preparing for exams, developing essay-writing skills, and building confidence in their abilities.
Alongside my studies, I have gained practical experience through a legal internship with Clifford Chance and property-related legal work, which has strengthened my analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail. These experiences allow me to bring real-world examples into my lessons and help students understand how their studies apply beyond the classroom.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them become independent and effective learners.

My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence, understanding, and academic success. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs, strengths, and learning goals.
My lessons focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand concepts using clear explanations, examples, discussion, and exam-style practice questions. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and develop independent learning skills that will benefit them both academically and beyond the classroom.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's requirements. Lessons can cover topic revision, essay-writing techniques, exam preparation, coursework support, study skills, and improving academic confidence.
I am currently a Law student with a strong academic background in Law, English Literature, and Sociology. I have completed a legal internship with Clifford Chance, where I developed skills in legal research, analysis, and professional communication. My studies and practical experience have strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students studying Law, English Literature, and related essay-based subjects. I also provide support with academic writing, critical thinking, revision strategies, and exam preparation for students looking to improve their grades and confidence.

All lesson materials, including practice questions, revision resources, and lesson notes, are included within the hourly rate at no additional cost. I also take time to prepare lessons in advance to ensure each session is structured and focused on the student's needs. I offer online lessons, providing flexibility and convenience for students. Longer-term students may benefit from customised study plans and ongoing support between lessons where appropriate.
