About Marissa
I started tutoring in high school for Algebra 2. After I graduated I began tutoring for my Alma mater. I mainly assisted students in writing their college essays. However I did help them with their regular high school assignments as well. Right now I am working for Cal Poly Pomona as a Summer Instructional Assistant for an online English Course.

I am a 3rd year English Education major at Cal Poly Pomona. I find that asking students questions and guiding them through their writing is the most helpful for them, rather than telling them what corrections to make. I have also been a high school tutor and helped students with their college essays.

Details
There will be an extra $5/hour for face-to-face tutoring since I would have to travel.
If a student wishes to buy a pack of hours the prices will be as follows:
~ Face-to-Face: 5 hours ----- $140.00 (Reg. $150)
10 hours ----- $275.00 (Reg. $300)
~ Webcam: 5 hours ----- $115.00 (Reg. $125)
10 hours ---- $225.00 (Reg. $250)
If traveling further than 15 miles, face-to-face rate will increase $5 every mile.
I will accept cash or checks. There will be a $15 return check fee if the check bounces.
