Recent BYU Idaho B.S. History Grad looking to gain experience through tutoring
Methodology
I recently received my B.S. in History from BYU-Idaho this past July. My degree involved a lot of research and writing, so I would be able to help students with their writing skills, grammar, reading, or just general English ACT prep.
Background
For a year and a half, I was a Teacher's Assistant for the History Department at BYU-Idaho. This position allowed me to work closely with a tenured professor and assist him with grading and proofreading. My duties consisted of grading students' assignments and critiquing their writing so they could improve. Because of my experience as a Teacher's Assistant, I am familiar with various citation formats, the components of strong writing, and general grammar and organizational components. I would love to help your student become a better writer or help them to better understand grammar.
In addition, I have a Bachelor's Degree in History, and I would be able to impart my knowledge of US History or Geography to your student.
