I am a qualified English and Primary school teacher who is able to provide tutition for students ranging from primary to 'A' Level, including preparation for exams (11 Plus, GCSE and 'A' Level). I am able to assess students learning needs and mould my lessons and instruction to suit their learning requirements. I am approachable, friendly and always willing to help and support to ensure my students grow in confidence and make excellent progress.
I began my teaching journey through Teach First four years ago, studying while I studied towards my PGCE. I started out as a secondary school teacher, preparing students for GCSE and 'A' Level examinations. Last year, I switched to primary teaching to gain further understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. However, I have also spent the last year tutoring students at KS3 and GCSE level.
