Medical Student with 3 years of experience gives Sciences tutoring for GCSE and A Level students in Liverpool
Methodology
My name is Behrouz a medical student at the University of Liverpool, currently studying a MSc in Public Health at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine after passing my medical school finals. I will graduate in the summer 2018 and then start to work as a doctor.
I am a big believer in motivation and inspiration, together with hard work, as key to exam success. It is very important to understand why you are doing what you are doing and what you are going to achieve in the long term. In addition, studying and exam technique is extremely important and this is at time something that I believe many students struggle with. Throughout my education from GCSE to A Levels and medical school I have improve many of my studying techniques and I hope my students will learn these from me. In addition, I am extremely motivated and enthusiastic and I strive to make sure my lessons are useful but also enjoyable.
Background
I have 3 years worth of experience tutoring KS3, GCSE and A Level students in Science and Maths subjects. In addition, I have experience giving advice to prospective medicine applicants with things like UCAS application, personal statement and interview skills. I like to firstly see where the students are at, assessing their baseline, their way of working and set achievable targets then I set a schedule of how we can reach those targets. This works tends to be very much catered to the individual and the techniques will vary from one student to another, depending on what suits you best.
In addition, I am also fluent in Spanish and I have experience giving Spanish lessons to both children and adult learners.
