Medical student at Imperial College London tutoring Maths, Biology and Chemistry in Peterborough
Methodology
I have tutored for a year at IQ plus tutoring centre and so have tutoring experience. I tutor mainly GCSE and AS students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I start the lesson with an interactive starter and then proceed to explaining concepts and exam questions for the remainder of the lesson. I have taught students of all abilities and enjoy helping all students make progress. I am well qualified having achieved 12A*S in my GCSEs and A*AAA in Biology, Chemistry, Maths A levels and an A in AS Physics. I also tutor students for medical school exams (UKCAT and BMAT); give expert advice on personal statements and provide mock medical school interviews.
Background
I have tutored students for a year at IQ PLUS in science. During this time, I mainly taught GCSE students, who have gone on to achieve A and A* grades, but have also taught lower years. Having completed my A Levels, I am keen to share my knowledge with A Level students as well. Additionally, during my time at The Kings School Peterborough, I also helped struggling, foundation GSCE students in my role as a prefect.
