Hi!
I'm an undergraduate student looking to tutor GCSE/AS/A Level Science and Maths students by effectively: setting verbal and written mini-tests; approaching and explaining concepts concisely and subsequently asking follow-up questions to prompt thoughts and to draw synoptic links between topics; and providing useful past-paper and self-written materials between sessions.
As an individual with a passion to engage my students with their subjects I aim to teach in a way that not only improves their grades and abilities but also sparks and nurtures their interest towards their studies.
I have been tutoring for two years, teaching one student GCSE Biology and another AS Level Chemistry.
Both went on to achieve top maximum marks - A* (despite being predicted a C) and A, respectively.
I also tutor three students the piano, all at different grades, so I am a well-versed, experienced tutor.
Currently Studying:
MSci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry
A Level:
3 A*s (Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology)
AS Level:
4 As (Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and History)
GCSEs:
13A*s (including all sciences and mathematics) and 1 A (iGCSE)
During A Levels:
Lots of mentoring experience in GCSE Biology, A Level Chemistry and piano students.

Jessica is incredibly hard working and doesn't easily give up on things as she is very motivated. She is also really excellent at explaining things and making difficult concepts easy to understand, all while being lots of fun! Furthermore, she is wonderfully patient and kind and will treat everyone with respect and encouragement.
Jessica is an amazing tutor, she always had amazing resources and little tricks and tips for remembering things. She helped me to learn things easily and at the end of each lesson, she made sure I had understood everything well. She is also extremely lovely, kind and very encouraging. I highly recommend her as a tutor.
