About Joey
I’m a pianist, Youtuber, and teacher with a background in jazz and composition for film and video games. I studied jazz in undergrad at UCF and earned my master’s in composition at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe. I’ve been teaching piano for over 10 years and currently have 40+ weekly students of varying levels learning all types of music.

I offer personalized piano lessons tailored to what you are interested in learning. Some of my students focus on jazz, others classical, and some learning how to write / orchestrate music. I have a diverse background in musical genres so my goal is to help you achieve whatever musical goal you may have!
I have a strong background in chords / harmony which I believe are incredibly useful to understand no matter what genre of music you are interested in.
