About Eve

I developed a passion for French language and culture early, which led me to pursue a B.A. in French Studies and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students of all ages and proficiency levels, combining structured instruction with interactive and immersive exercises that build fluency, comprehension, and communication skills.

I emphasize adaptive, practical, and engaging lessons, blending grammar, vocabulary, conversation, listening, and cultural exploration. I encourage students to participate actively, experiment with language, and develop independence while strengthening their skills and confidence.

Outside teaching, I explore French literature, media, and culture, integrating contemporary insights into lessons. Teaching French is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform hesitation into fluency, gain confidence, and cultivate a rich understanding of the language and culture. My goal is to provide a meaningful, enjoyable, and lasting learning experience in French.

About the lesson

French lessons are most effective when grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and culture are integrated into interactive and meaningful practice. My teaching methodology focuses on speaking fluency, listening comprehension, reading skills, writing accuracy, and cultural awareness through practical exercises, dialogues, role-plays, and immersive discussions. I provide structured support while fostering creativity, expression, and linguistic confidence, helping learners communicate effectively and authentically. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, encouraging experimentation and engagement in a supportive environment.

Beginners focus on pronunciation, foundational grammar, basic vocabulary, and simple conversational structures. Intermediate students work on complex sentence construction, idiomatic expressions, nuanced communication, and listening comprehension. Advanced learners refine fluency, debate skills, stylistic writing, and cultural understanding, applying language in authentic contexts. Every lesson includes exercises, interactive discussions, and personalized feedback to reinforce learning and ensure progress.
