About Tim
I’m a fourth-year medical student currently on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 6.0, and I’ve always had a strong academic background. I graduated from Fort Street High School with a 97 ATAR, and previously studied Biomedical Engineering and Medical Science at the University of Sydney as a Dalyell Scholar (GPA 6.83). I also achieved a UCAT score of 3300, which helped me gain entry into medicine at Western Sydney University.
I’ve been tutoring for over six years and have worked with more than 15 students, many of whom I’ve supported right through to graduation. This long-term experience has helped me understand how to adapt to different learning styles and guide students through both the academic and personal challenges of school.
I genuinely enjoy tutoring and building strong, supportive relationships with my students. At the same time, I maintain clear professional boundaries and a structured approach, so students feel both comfortable and motivated to achieve their best.

I use HSC-recommended textbooks, past papers, and targeted resources to ensure students are practicing the right material. Lessons include structured planning, homework support, and detailed feedback to track progress.
As a medical student on the Dean’s List (GPA 6.0), I focus on proven study techniques like spaced repetition and active recall to help students retain information and perform under exam conditions.
I have experience working with high school students of all ages and abilities, and aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
