I am 6ft tall and love sports especially football and have participated in various competitions up till now. I am a very jovial teacher and I teach students from all walks of life barring religion, tradition, ethnicity, etc.
I try to make my lessons as attractive as possible by employing descriptive and practical aids as students learn better that way. I start my lessons by listing the objectives of that lesson and tick each objective (after being completed). I then give a general overview of the lesson for the day after which I drop a small note and take example(s) to buttress what I have explained after which I give some questions for Class Work and some as Assignments.
I like students asking loads of questions because they are paying for a service (an important one such as education), and must get quality service. It is my joy that 100/100 in my class understands and does well in my subjects. I normally give monthly tests and an examination to be sure that my students are able to start competing both locally and globally.
I am an Electrical & Electronics Engineer, meaning I am very proficient in Physics and Mathematics and have been teaching since 2013. I have taught various levels of students starting from Basic 5&6 kids who were preparing for National Common Entrance into JSS1, I also taught JSS 3 students (both private and as a group) preparing them for Junior WAEC. I have also taught SSS 1, 2, and 3 students. I have taught diploma students - prepared them for the entrance exam into Unilag and also prepared them for the semester work.
I achieved outstanding results with these students from the primary school by first leading them to The Ultimate Mathematics Ambassadors' (TUMA) competition at Sango Otta where they performed fairly well, some of the kids gained admission to Queen's College, FSTC(Yabatech), Command, etc, after an outstanding result in the Common Entrance Examination. The students I prepared for Junior WAEC also did well and gained admission to SSS 1. The diploma students I taught both gained admission into Unilag via the entrance exam and the ones I prepared during the semester also gained admission to their courses (Elect & Elect Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geophysics, Estate Management, etc).
Contacts of some of these students are available upon request as I have also maintained a great friendship with them.
