Methodology
Hi, my name is Peter! I have just graduated from Durham University with a masters in Electrical Engineering and am now working for a major car manufacturer in the UK; one of my lifetime goals.
I would love to help you achieve your goals. Whether that's simply gaining a better understanding in a subject area, or performing in an upcoming exam, I can help you fully achieve your potential.
I can help with Maths or Engineering and related subjects up to AS-Level, primarily focussing on problem areas, working to find the underlying lack of understanding and working from there to build confidence and ability, through explanation, examples and practise!
I have a very relaxed teaching style, as this is what I responded to throughout my education, however, this doesn't mean that I won't expect work to be done and done well!
Background
My degree is in Electrical Engineering and I studied Maths, Futher Maths, Physics and German at A-level, hence I am able to teach in a maths or engineering capacity.
I have teaching experience in a different capacity, teaching sound and lighting skills to various technicians at events. Although a different application, the methodology and mindset alongside an ability to explain things clearly transfer directly to the Maths and Engineering subject areas.
I also have worked for Jaguar Land Rover and General Electric, so my industry experience helps me to explain the application of theory.
