About Jacopo

I am a business consultant and I have worked for multinational corporations for about 8 years, now I advice startups in developing their business and revenue model. I also advice a few wealthy people and teach them on how to invest and how to manage their wealth. I run an educational podcast (in Italian) in business and economics topics (on the Top15 Apple Podcast Italia: Education).
I have started tutoring students in economics and business administration since August 2020, and I help them understanding specific topic they are studying, mainly about microeconomics, macroeconomics and business analysis.
Since March 2020 I teach private investors how to assess an investment, manage investment risks, and develop a balanced securities' portfolio.

About the lesson

My teaching method may vary according to the topic and the audience I am teaching.
When I tutor students I request the topic they need support in advance, I generally request the books or slides they are study on in order to understand how the topic has been approached by their professor. Ask them what is not clear to them and where they need my support. After all of this I prepare a class tailored to the request of my student and I get ready to answer to their question. The topic may be sorted in an hour session, but if needed it can be covered in more sessions.
When I'm teaching finance to people who wants to invest, I assess their knowledge, their risk approach, and their goal, then I tailor the lessons on their needs based on topic useful for them to be autonomous in the approach of an investment. This teaching can last for a few or several sessions depending on the background and goals of my student, sessions may last longer than an hour.
