About Josh
I am currently studying biomedical sciences at Queen Mary University of London and will then continue into medicine as a postgraduate. I have experience of both tutoring and being tutored myself so have a sound understanding of effective student learning techniques. To have the opportunity to really make a difference to a student’s education is immensely rewarding whilst helping students to unlock their full potential and achieve their goals is a real privilege.

The structure of my lessons are entirely student dependent. In order to optimise the productivity of their time I ask that students highlight to me prior to lessons any areas of particular weakness which I will use as foundations for my lesson plans. Usually this will involve a short PowerPoint at the start of the lesson to gauge understanding followed by a variety of past exam questions. The overall goal of this is to increase confidence when tackling exam questions enabling students can ace their final exams. Previous experience of volunteering as a tutor at a London secondary school for tutoring company CoachBright.
